walking on the bridge

Serreria bridge, a project in Valencia by Spanish architect Santiago Calatrava and situated next to the City of Arts and Sciences. Built between 2005-2008 , the bridge is sustained by cables tautened to a mast that rises 125 metres /410 ft from the old riverbed of the Turia River. I enjoyed walking here last weekend.

  14. Have to say that the more I see of Spain in terms of built landscapes, the more I want to visit. I worry though about racism (mentioned so much with regards to Spanish football and also the infamous "slit eye" Spanish Olympic basketball team photo). Would appreciate getting your thoughts about that...

  16. Cincinnati has TWO bridges that are JUST for humans! NO cars allowed. One is purple and one is yellow. I thought that was awesome... Both of them cross the Ohio River.

This is really a NEAT shot of that bridge Mar! You have such an eye!
