Serreria bridge, a project in Valencia by Spanish architect Santiago Calatrava and situated next to the City of Arts and Sciences. Built between 2005-2008 , the bridge is sustained by cables tautened to a mast that rises 125 metres /410 ft from the old riverbed of the Turia River. I enjoyed walking here last weekend.

Your picture reminded me of Denver's Millennium Bridge http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Denver_Millennium_Bridge But I think your picture is much prettier than any of these on Wiki.

I worry though about racism (mentioned so much with regards to Spanish football and also the infamous "slit eye" Spanish Olympic basketball team photo). ReplyDeleteCincinnati has TWO bridges that are JUST for humans! NO cars allowed. One is purple and one is yellow. I thought that was awesome... Both of them cross the Ohio River.
