photohunts: citrus~ travel

Oranges decorate Valencia's Central Market, one of the oldest running food markets in Europe, built between 1914 and 1928, in genuine Valencian style, with lots of colors , ceramics and mosaics. Valencia is the region that produces the most oranges in Spain, so much so that it has attracted the name "The Orchard of Spain".  I always take my digital camera along when I travel!

  2. I tend to associate oranges with the Mediterranean -- so was really surprised to learn that citrus fruits have their origin in the Malaysian jungle! :b
