This week's theme is red. I have a tiny, new Christmas ornament (is all what my storage space currently allows!) and I thought I would show it off. That's the above picture. And then I remembered:
The one and only Little RED riding hood!!
This is a lovely sculpture of our Little RED Riding Hood, aka Caperucita Roja (Spanish), Rotkäppchen (German), located at a tiny traffic circle or roundabout in a community near Barcelona. I wish the environment was a bit more appropriate ( a large park, for example) but it has traditionally been here for ages, it was gone as progress came to town and new buildings were built but it was recovered in 1995, according to the metal plate you see below the sculpture.
the "little red riding hood" photo is such a clever take on this week's theme. if I were in your place it wouldn't cross my mind because she's not actually red. nice one!

What a cute little statue ! It's amazing that it is just in Spain. In Italian it's called Capucetto Rosso very similar to the spanish language.
