This is the avatar which the talented and generous tnchick made for me about two years ago, inspired on the coffee lover template I was using at that time. I have changed templates in the meantime but my blogging self is closely tied to this avatar. So below is my attempt to represent myself. Not an easy task, as I was holding the cup with my left hand while trying to focus and hold the camera with my right hand... I flipped the final version so as to match the original avatar:

And the one below it's not a flying saucer...it's the same set as seen from the ground up
it's on a glass table, specially cleaned for the occasion !

ReplyDeleteHope you are having a lovely time, my dear.
So the secret of the avatar is revealed! I don't remember the original picture, though. Maybe it was on one of your early blogs?
ReplyDeleteIntriguing shaped saucers too!
Best! rashbre
Love the coffee cup photo - it is so mysterious!
ReplyDeleteHappy Weekend.
Gosh, you don't go for the easy shots! Love the lace gloves :)
ReplyDeleteWell done on the 31 posts in 31 days!
You are so very creative! I did not go for anything too unique. I'm afraid it was boring old me!
ReplyDeleteGreat From The Ground Up shot! Did you toss and then take shot? I need to go look again LOL!

You are a bloomin' genius! WOW! I remember the days when I would come up with something creative like that! WHAT HAPPENED? (my brain is mush!) LOL! I do LOVE that coffee photo! Only thing missing is the spills over the side! (guess that would have messed up the freshly cleaned table!)
ReplyDeleteOh they are so creative mar! But of course hiding.. hehe

Interesting picture through the glass table!
ReplyDeleteIt really does make it look like the plate is suspended in mid-air.
Great pics both of them and I kind of like your avatar - original and artistic and it's always good to know its you (Facebook or wherever), you know :-)
ReplyDeleteWishing you still a good time where you are and a wonderful weekend!
Great photos! I love the way you copied your avatar, and the shot through the table looks delightfully strange. Very enjoyable.
ReplyDeleteHa! Ha! Like Gattina I knew we won't see you! But the pictures are very creative. I heard a comment about Valencia on radio! A beautiful artistic center culturel and architectural and a place where you can dance and have fun all the night!
ReplyDeleteVery clever combination of themes. I didn'd do a ground up today, but have them for the last couple of days and will have another on Monday if not tomorrow.
ReplyDeleteI love the how you set up that shot - the gloves are a nice touch.
ReplyDeleteThanks for swinging by mine :)
Clever idea for today’s Photo Hunt! My ‘piece of me' is at Small Reflections … along with other Saturday ‘stuph’ ;--)

What a wonderful idea for this theme. I have always loved your avatar and now I know how it came to be.
ReplyDeleteHave a good weekend.
Congrats on your Nablopo Award.
ReplyDeleteI love your coffee cup shot, especially the one through the table. I was actually regretting that I no longer had a glass table because I was wanting to take such a shot. I am content now that you have done so.
Excellent photo!! Hope your weekend was a good one. :)
ReplyDeleteI really did thought at first the saucer was about to crash onto the ground!! :P
