The picture doesn't do my plant justice, in real life the flower shows a deep shocking pink! This is my Mesembryanthemum (meaning "midday flowering") criniflorum, which I just learned from blogging, although I am not sure about the "criniflorum".... Such an amazing succulent plant can survive with little water and has colorful flowers , which makes it the ideal plant for my Mediterranean garden (not only) in times of drought... We had a little rain Friday night, not much, but it was very welcomed!
It looks kind of purple here. Pretty though. :)
ReplyDeleteHappy WS!
A very beautiful flower!
ReplyDeleteThe color even like that is beautiful ! I could use some of your flowers in my garden, but I am sure they won't survive with all this rain !
ReplyDeleteThe house is empty again, but we had a lot of fun ! (to be)DIL made an effort and was really nice, apparentlhy she warms up now ! I was probably too overwhelming for her, lol ! Our friends even called me to tell that now she is getting "normal"! Poor girl in this family!
cool catch for WS! mine’s up too hope you can drop by.
ReplyDeleteGorgeous!!
ReplyDeleteThat's so pretty! I think a neighbour of ours brought a bit of a plant like that back from her vacation once and got it to bloom.
ReplyDeleteThat's a beautiful flower. I am glad you got a little rain and I'll keep doing my rain dance that you will get more.
ReplyDeleteIt is mud season, and my back yard is full of water! Want me to send some over?
ReplyDeleteWow, what beautiful color you captured, thank-you for sharing
ReplyDeleteIt is lovely! Anything that lives despite adverse conditions is amazing to me. This also happens to be beautiful!
ReplyDeleteThis flower looks GORGEOUS, Mar...! I am unfamiliar with this plany, but it sure good that you have plants like this when there has been so little rain....! Like many Cacti there are these succulents that seem to thrive, no matter the rain, and a good thing, isn't it?
ReplyDeletei think the pic did do it justice - the pink is so vibrant. :) have a great (drought-free) week ahead! :)
