fun monday

Mother may I?
This is Hootin' Anni's assignment: You're to take 30 giant steps away from your computer in any direction. After the 30 giant steps, Stop! Take a photo and/or note what you are seeing.
Then, take 15 baby steps back. After the 15 baby steps, Stop! Take a photo and/or note what you are seeing. Look in any direction -What you see is what we get!!It's all about your first glance after the giant/baby steps!!! [You will have two photos/stories for us- the 30 giant steps then, the 15 baby steps going back]

Thirty giant steps took me outside, to share with you the view from my terrace. If you are not familiar with this blog (how can that be? lol) this is the Med Sea in Barcelona, Spain. I never get tired of this...

Fifteen baby steps took me back inside my home again to take a picture of this piece of furniture, a wardrobe which used to belong to Mr. Mar's Oma (grandmother):

  4. I would definitely like that view! I think if I did this meme then the photos would be very boring indeed as I live on a housing estate!

  5. Lovely view. If I were to to that meme, I'd end up with a picture of our garden, which is nice, but nothing compared to a view of the Mediterranean Sea.

  12. Wow, an awesome sight. What a view. I wouldn't tire of that view either, or the deck from which to enjoy it. How nice you had such a lovely wardrobe passed down. When my Gedo needed a wardrobe, he asked my dad to build a cheap one. It was made of panelling and 2x4s. My dad inherited after my Gedo's moving to a new house, and I think my parents still have it in the root cellar off the house.

  14. That is quite the view! Sigh...I'm just going to sit here for a while and stare at that photo and pretend it's my view. You don't mind if I hang out for a while, do you? ;-)

  16. Oh...I LOVE your view. Paint me jealous. I also wish I had some antique furnishings...

  17. My 30 steps takes me out my back door but today is overcast so you can't see my view of the Rocky Mountains. And 15 steps back gives you a view of my messy family room that I need to hurry and clean before my Mom gets here.

Sad how "cleaning my room" got to be such a huge undertaking!

  35. The Mediterrean Sea, what a view! My daughter lived in Croatia for five months in 2004. She could see the Adriatic Sea across from Italy. My youngest daughter is going to Italy next year for 5 weeks to study art and photography. I sure would love to go.
