This is Hootin' Anni's assignment: You're to take 30 giant steps away from your computer in any direction. After the 30 giant steps, Stop! Take a photo and/or note what you are seeing.
Then, take 15 baby steps back. After the 15 baby steps, Stop! Take a photo and/or note what you are seeing. Look in any direction -What you see is what we get!!It's all about your first glance after the giant/baby steps!!! [You will have two photos/stories for us- the 30 giant steps then, the 15 baby steps going back]
Fifteen baby steps took me back inside my home again to take a picture of this piece of furniture, a wardrobe which used to belong to Mr. Mar's Oma (grandmother):

Thirty giant steps took me outside, to share with you the view from my terrace. If you are not familiar with this blog (how can that be? lol) this is the Med Sea in Barcelona, Spain. I never get tired of this...

There's a reason my mother plans on retiring to Spain. It's gorgeous!
ReplyDeleteYou are soooo lucky having that view. I have never been to Barcelona but it is on my list of places to visit.
ReplyDeleteWow....what a view! I would never tire of that either!!! And the 15 baby steps takes us to a unique piece of furniture!! What a great Fun Monday for us.
ReplyDeleteHappy day to you dear friend.
I would definitely like that view! I think if I did this meme then the photos would be very boring indeed as I live on a housing estate!
ReplyDeleteLovely view. If I were to to that meme, I'd end up with a picture of our garden, which is nice, but nothing compared to a view of the Mediterranean Sea.
ReplyDeleteWelcome to Fun Monday, your view is indeed beautiful. I look forward to visiting your blog again to learn more about your life in Barcelona.
ReplyDeleteI recognize that view! I WANT that view! LOL! For that matter, I'd love to have that cabinet too! BEAUTY is all around you! (dust is all around me... *sigh*)
ReplyDeleteWow! Nobody else's snaps are going to be able to measure up to that!
ReplyDeleteYou are so lucky!
Oh, my gosh, best view yet!
ReplyDeleteOmas Schrank looks very nice !
ReplyDeleteWe have a nice show here every evening tonight it is Moulin Rouge musical ! Don't miss my post tomorrow I only say it was hilarious .... Call Boys !!
Wow those are gorgeous shots. What an idyllic place you live in. Thank you so much for the birthday wishes. It meant a great deal to me. As ever, Carver
ReplyDeleteWow, an awesome sight. What a view. I wouldn't tire of that view either, or the deck from which to enjoy it. How nice you had such a lovely wardrobe passed down. When my Gedo needed a wardrobe, he asked my dad to build a cheap one. It was made of panelling and 2x4s. My dad inherited after my Gedo's moving to a new house, and I think my parents still have it in the root cellar off the house.
ReplyDeletewhat an inspiring view. waking up on a sunday morning with a cup of coffee and looking out to the blue... precioso!!!
ReplyDeleteThat is quite the view! Sigh...I'm just going to sit here for a while and stare at that photo and pretend it's my view. You don't mind if I hang out for a while, do you? ;-)
ReplyDeleteCan we come live with you? Pleease?
ReplyDeleteOh...I LOVE your view. Paint me jealous. I also wish I had some antique furnishings...
ReplyDeleteMy 30 steps takes me out my back door but today is overcast so you can't see my view of the Rocky Mountains. And 15 steps back gives you a view of my messy family room that I need to hurry and clean before my Mom gets here.
ReplyDeleteSad how "cleaning my room" got to be such a huge undertaking!
Oh boy is that one gorgeous view. I'd never get tired of that either!
ReplyDeleteWell you just have two photos that are exceptional. I will have to try those steps...Scared to what I might come up with...Hope I dusted.lol
ReplyDeleteTake care,
Connie
This is my first time to your blog (I'm here via Fun Monday) but I will definitely be back.
ReplyDeleteI would never get anything done if I lived there...I'd be staring at your view all the time.
That view of the sea is breathtaking, the antique furniture gorgeous!
ReplyDeleteI saw the sun Saturday morning for the first time in about 2 weeks. That whole med. picture is like salt in my damp Irish wounds. :)
ReplyDeleteI would never tire of that view either, it's stunning!
ReplyDeleteI will have to remember to show this to my husband. He loved the Med. I've never been but that view is just spectacular!
ReplyDeleteI wish I had such an amazing view 30 feet from my house! And, I love that you are keeping Oma's wardrobe.
ReplyDeleteI loves views of the ocean or other bodies of water. That is a pretty view.
ReplyDeleteThe only thing bad about visiting bloggers from other countries is the longing it gives me that I am not there! :-)
ReplyDeleteStunning view! I'll have mine white with one sugar please.
ReplyDeletewhat a gorgeous view! i wouldn't get tired of it either!
ReplyDeleteI wish I could have that view - if only for a day!
ReplyDeleteThat is a beautiful view! I don't think I would ever tire of it either. Happy FM!
ReplyDeleteOh my goodness! I love this. It's dark out now, but I think I'll play in the morning.
ReplyDeleteI wouldn't get tired of that view either, Mar....It would be thrilling to look out on The Med each day, every day...BEAUTIFUL. And that is a lovely peice of furniture....I love things that have a family history to them, and that certainly does....!
ReplyDeleteWhat a view. I would never tire of that. Thanks for sharing.

The Mediterrean Sea, what a view! My daughter lived in Croatia for five months in 2004. She could see the Adriatic Sea across from Italy. My youngest daughter is going to Italy next year for 5 weeks to study art and photography. I sure would love to go.
ReplyDeleteWhat a stunning view!!! I've never been there, but it sure looks inviting!! Happy Fun Monday!
ReplyDeletetrade ya for a week or two. PLEASE???
ReplyDeleteAhhh.... that lovely sea view!!!! I'm green of envy... *mutterings*
