it's random again!
1. My first TT was on 11/10/05.
2. I had another blog then and another host...
3. My main concern at that time was Mr Mar's back injury
4. which luckily didn't require surgery
5. Cautious like he is (*insert ironic smile here*), he was skiing over Xmas that winter...
6. I know, I shook my head too!
7. I have been reading about the new seven wonders
8. I am biased because I was born in Chile and now I live in Spain, so I'd like at least one (if not both 9 and 10) to be included in the list of new wonders:
9. Statues of Easter Island (10th - 16th Century) Easter Island, Chile
10. or else the Alhambra (12th century) Granada, Spain
11. No, I haven't visited any of those two. You can still vote online!
12. Remember my last TT? Alinghi of Switzerland won the 52nd America's Cup last tuesday for ONE second! and we are hoping they keep Valencia in Spain as base for the 53rd Cup...
13. Saturday concert: Live Earth on 07/07/07 will use the global reach of music t
o engage people on a mass scale to combat our climate crisis. The concerts will take place in the US, UK, Australia, Japan, China, South Africa, Brazil, and Germany. It sounds promising, hopefully it will draw enough attention to make us change the way we are treating our environment.

Your hubby sure is brave. I wouldn't dare ski after an injury be it serious or not.

ReplyDeleteAgreed! I cannot beleive that some people still think there isn't a problem. Even if it wasn't as severe as some people think then it doesn't take a genius to work out that we have afinite amount of resources and therefore should manage these sensibly adn only one earth and so should look after it!

ReplyDeleteI was in the hospital from October 2000 until January 2001. I woke up in November asking when I could get out and go snowboarding! Crazy, huh. I went in the 2001/2002 winter though - also crazy.

That's cool. I am a new enough TTer that random was my choice. I approve thoroughly of the Wonders of the World and now I understand why the Spanish news was showing a pyramid. ;)
