This is the view I have whenever I go out the garden door to get to my car, when it is parked in the street . This is the neighbor's bougainvillea, a purple accent in the -otherwise- ever green scenery. It looks particularly pretty with the morning sun, like it is the case here. Next to it you see an olive tree and a tall pine tree, typical vegetation in our area. In the background you see our hills (500m/1,600ft) and the glorious blue sky. And if you look carefully you will see a proud little tree standing on top of the hill to the right of the pic, overlooking the whole scenario. What you cannot see behind the hill are the vinyards, but that's a story for another post!
Mar, I love bougainvillea! I usually have 2-3 hanging pots of it on my deck, but not this year. It is too hot and dry for plants!

I can't believe that's your view when you are going to your car. It's beautiful!
ReplyDeleteWe dont have olive trees here in Oklahoma. I'm thinking I've only read about those in the Bible. Isn't that sad? Our state rock is the rose rock though. Have you ever seen one of those? It really looks like a rose.
if you are so inclined…..
ReplyDeleteThat tree seems to control everything. Evene you. So take your actions not to bee seen. Eat som jellyfish to be invisible;)))

When you go out that garden door do you sometimes find yourself lingering, not quite making it to the car?
