Because I have read all those posts referring to ice storms (not only) in the US and I have seen the news, I thought I should post my almond tree, the way it looked yesterday. It has been a dry winter and the tree should be looking a lot fuller at this time of the year...
and my "unknown" plant (don't know its name, helpful comments will be appreciated ) which looked like this in november:
an now it looks this bright orange. A tiny flower reminding us spring is on its way. Missed the better moment of the flower while I was away.
Hi Mar.
ReplyDeleteLovely, lovely sunny pics! makes me yearn for Spring as it is grey and cold and damp over here atm.
I'm afraid I don't know the name of your plant but it had a lovely 'hot' little flower.
Michele sent me today but I would have shown up at some time :-)
Hi Mar...! I don't know what that plant is...I just know it is some kind of Succulant---well, at least I think it is...It certainly is lush and I would have loved to see that Beautiful Flower in it's prime...!

Huh. Well. I was GOING to say that I bet Naomi knows! But I see from reading the comments that she doesn't. So I don't know who else you could ask... but I DO agree it's some sort of succulent! Maybe there is a site on line that shows them ALL... all million and seven of them!
ReplyDeleteIs that almond tree and almond tree - like as in it bears fruit which are NUTS??? THAT kind of almond tree? I want one! You better get out there and water it!!!
I'm jealous of your weather! I wasn't meant to live in cold weather. I hope you can find out what kind of plant that is. i tried looking it up, no luck.
