01. Today is NaBloPoMo's very last day!
02. I posted every.single.day this month
03. A post a day isn't an easy task, I realized it takes away time from visiting other blogs!
04. I didn't get to know any new blogger, see nr.3
05. But it was a different thing to do in november!
06. It is hard to believe tomorrow is december already...
07. I still send real Christmas cards to older relatives and special people
08. I love receiving cards American style with a review of the year and an update, only I never get around to do it!
09. Received my first Xmas card of the season via snail mail yesterday!
10. Which reminds me I have to sit down and write Xmas cards this weekend
11. Next week is particularly short in Spain since both Dec. 6th and Dec 8th are holidays, the former being Constitution Day , the latter is a Catholic holiday. Many people have free on the 7th allowing for a very long weekend. Not our family.
12. It is normally the weekend the nearby Pyrenean ski stations open for the first time, but it doesn't look like it this year, it has been way too warm.
13. Our pear tree is growing small pears... yes, in november. I need a partridge now!

So are you going to take a day or two off now that NaBloPoMo is nearly over? Kick back, put your feet up, rest your weary typing fingers?
ReplyDeleteIt's very warm here too ... not like nearly December at all!
That's alot of posts!! I don't think I could come up with something to write for each day of the month.
ReplyDeleteIt is hard to believe that it's December already! The year went by so quickly!!
Have a great Thursday!
Love your list. Happy TT!
ReplyDeleteI took part in NaBloPoMo too. :) It wasn't too difficult for me, since I normally post my workouts, and I work out 6 days a week, so there's always something to write about.
ReplyDeleteI've received my first Christmas card too, and need to get to start on writing and addressing mine!
Have a good day. :)

ReplyDelete:D
Woo hoo! That was a loooooong month, eh? WHAT? Pears in November?????
ReplyDeleteI've posted my Thursday Thirteen, too. Enjoy!
Well done Mar, i don't think i would have made it through in NaBloPoMo! It is not easy to find material for daily posting.
ReplyDeleteLove getting cards as well. I usually send out about 35-40 cards every year, a pack of 50 cards for £5 i usually buy in England. But not this year. Didn't get around to buying them. Snail mail is still more exciting than electronic mail. By a long stretch.
See, I HATE getting those Christmas letters with updates from people I haven't seen in years. If I wanted to know, we'd keep in touch. ;)
ReplyDeleteBut I miss snail mail cards.
How did it get to be December tomorrow already??? I am in the process of writing my Christmas cards. It's a long job but I still send proper paper cards to everyone I wnat to send a card to! It seems that this is still usual for most people in the UK adn Christmas is a big holiday here.
ReplyDeleteI used to write Christmas letters...with blogging now I don't know if I can make the time. It's like I write one everyday. I don't know how people found time to blog and do the Nano thing.
ReplyDeleteMy 13 are dressed in RED and ready to be read!
Congratulations on posting every single day. You're right, it's not easy. First, to THINK of something that might interest readers, THEN write it and THEN finding the time to actually post it. Good job!
ReplyDeleteEnjoy the short week!
I can't believe that you have already gottena Christmas card. That's so exciting!
ReplyDeleteHappy TT
ReplyDeleteGreat list...and congrats for your NaBloPoMo...I didn't even try that.
ReplyDeleteHave a great Thursday...mine's up, too.
I love receiving Christmas cards. I need to get on the horn about sending mine out.
ReplyDeleteMy 13 are up.
Wow! Congrats on the post a day thing! I don't know that I could do it!
ReplyDeleteThanks for stopping by!
Happy weekend!
Congrats on making it through!
ReplyDelete#12 and #13 made me smile. I'd love to ski on the Pyrenese Mountains, and I just love Pears.
ReplyDeleteWith it being so warm, I'm sure they are nice and sweet!I can't believe it's almost December, where did the year go!!
very cool to have a pear tree at Christmas time. The Partridge would freeze here.
ReplyDeleteCONGRATULATIONS on 30 Continual days of posting!!! That is a real triumph, my dear Mar! And each one was very interesting, and THAT'S no easy thing to manage either...! So will you take 30 days off now? (LOL)
ReplyDeleteCongratulations on posting every day - that's a big accomplishment! Have a great weekend.
ReplyDelete*note to self - find partridge for Mar*...
ReplyDeleteHAPPY LAST DAY OF NABLOPOMO!!!! Whooooo hooooo! We BOTH did it! And now we should celebrate ... let's do champagne!!! And kick up our heels! Cuz honestly -- haven't we spent ENOUGH time sitting in this computer chair this month??? It's time to DANCE!!! Whhhooooo hooo!
Great list! I know I'll never get around to posting every day. I want very much to send Christmas cards this year. I've done the yearly update but really prefer to write handwritten notes.....so many cards and too little time;-)
ReplyDeleteIt is very hard to believe tomorrow starts December already!!
ReplyDeleteGlad you still send cards. They are such fun to get. Ours are ready (printed)--but not addressed yet. I did NaBloPoMo too but only got a few responses from all the comments I left.
ReplyDeleteMy TT is up.
happy Thursday.. enjoyed reading your posts..
ReplyDeleteCongrats on completing that nanaplannamomo thing. I knew one of my favorite bloggers would have someting over here for me to read.
ReplyDeleteThanks for supporting my new habit!
That was a good list of 13. A post a day is getting pretty hard to do. I'm running out of things to post about and my blog has been giving me problems the past week, can't figure it out.
ReplyDeleteWe got our first snow today to ring in the month of December. The little boy I watch got very excited. Mine are up.
Hello there mmar. This visit is on 2 counts...
ReplyDelete1. to visit your TT
2. You are the comment aboveme on Carmen'sgone to Plaid.
I will sned you your virtual christmas gift a little later when I think of something good enogh...
Liked your list. December 8 is the feast of the Immacuulate Conception, Spain gets a holiday for that? That's nice... NO holidays here. It's the day Christiana (my 5yr old) was baptised in 2001. It's a grand feast in Goa (Panjim) where I come from.
We also send paper greeting cards here to all our family. and I really must get to it soon if my sis Amanda and the rest are to receive it on time...
You know me, Mar. I post every day anyway. I guess I am truly addicted to it. LOL
ReplyDeleteGot great Greta news, so go over and check it out!
