This is my beautiful Cereus peruvianus "Night-Blooming Cereus" - thanks to OOLOHI know its name. It reminds me of The Little Shop of Horrors .The fruit is edible but I haven't tried it ..
I love that photo! It is huge! We just moved to the desert and woke up one morning to huge white flowers all over a big cactus out back.....who'da thunk it?
That fruit and picture looked very familiar...! (lol). It is a delicious fruit, my dear...! Just like all fruits, even these Cactus type fruits are all different in texture and look and flavor, too...though on first glance they look very much alike...I hope you get to taste this someday...!
where and how do you find all these links to these amazing sites - it makes blogging so much fun. Love the picture, the colours are great!! Which camera do you use? we are looking at purchasing a new one.
LOL! When I came here I came straight from Naomi's -- and when your page opened I said "hm... I'm back at Naomi's".... Is the one in the PICTURE yours Mar? Hanging SO big... in a gallery? If so I AM very impressed! They are very neat plants and I'd be a little hesitant to try the fruit for some reason.... I would end up doing it though! Curiosity would get the better of me! It looks like some birds have already enjoyed this fruit a little!
Great photo. Before I read your comment, I was going to say it was just like the ones over at OOLOH, but then when I read your comment, I knew I was right. It is beautiful. Thanks for coming.
Thanks for your comment, the best part of every post! ☀ IMPORTANT: ☀ kindly leave your direct link to the current meme, if you have multiple blogs. Thank you very much!!
