Two squirrels come down the tree in front of my window every morning at about the same time, as if they had a set date there. They chase each other around the tree, making all kind of noises just like little kids... They are very quick and I can only try to take pictures from inside because I think they would leave if I go out. Pictured above is about the only image I have which is not (totally) blurry! I love the effect of the morning sun. It is before 9am.

Thank you for your comments on my blog. I have not met anyone from Spain before. So welcome! I also liked the pics of the doors you have posted.
Take care, Merle.
Congratulations on your gold medal!
ReplyDeleteWe have a squirrel that runs across the yard at the same time every day - one way he's empty - on the way back he's carrying a walnut. All fall... he's pretty funny!!

Hi Mar! Love your pic of your squirrel. It must be lovely to watch them every day. There are grey squirrels near the lake I posted about on my blog. It can be quite funny watching them play and chase each other! :0)
ReplyDeleteCongratulations on your Gold medal.
ReplyDeleteCongratulations! We don't have squirrels in the Philippines and from your story they seem to be adorable animals.
ReplyDeleteHappy Monday!
hey mar - that's a great capture. You just need a faster camera for better pics. hehe. I love the sun shine on the squirrel too. We have mostly black ones here. I guess they are more annoying or something...
ReplyDeleteThanks for the well wishes and I hope to be able to figure out my photo problem soon on P's computer.
Of course you got Gold! you rocked!
ReplyDeleteOH MY GOSH!!!! I want to chase them & catch them and, and, AND!!!! I want to EAT them!!
ReplyDeleteI love squirrels we get loads of them here! and Congratulations on your gold medal!
ReplyDeleteCongratulations on the gold. I love squirrels although I have never seen one in real life lol.
ReplyDeleteGreat pic! I love to watch the birds and squirrels from my windows, too. I little ticked the squirrels keep eating all the bird food, though! I'll cut them some slack in the winter, but not now when they have plenty of food.
ReplyDeleteWhen I was a little girl there was a squirrel that would come by my mother's bedroom window all the time. I named it Charlie. Maybe this is his great, great, great grandchildren.
ReplyDeletei hate squirrels! they're always getting into my bird feeders and eating all the bird seed!
ReplyDeletei did really enjoy watching a pair of squirrels at my parents house...
one day last year, my mom had thrown out a bunch of old nuts that she couldnt use for pies... they must have been pecans... but it was so much fun watching them chase each other around trying to get to the nuts... and when the main squirrel was up hiding his nut, the other squirrel would sneak in and grab one and take off and hide it before the other one found out! it was so funny!
We have a squirrel family in the tree behind the house, they sit on the edge of next door's pond and bop the koi on their noses!
ReplyDeleteI love squirrels! We have tons of them around here, but they won't allow me to take their pictures. Something about photos making them look fat. Silly squirrels!
ReplyDeleteKdubs' baby is soooooooo cute!!!! That whole family is adorable!
Aww how cute!!! We have chipmunks that come out to play every morning in our backyard! They are so cute!
ReplyDeleteExcellent, love it!
