E is for egg


Not edible, but still an egg...
  ABC Wednesday

This egg is made out of combarbalita, a Chilean semiprecious stone that presents a great range of colours which depends on  the predominance of some minerals or mineralogical associations within the rock. So there. Happy Wednesday!

    Me either, haven't heard of this semiprecious stone. But I'm sure pretty soon the market will be flooded with jewelry made out of it.

    Still in BCN? Will be there in October for a couple of days before the cruise.

    Gorgeous, - the shape is so conducive to fitting in the hand, but I fear this egg would be uch too precious to be carrying around.
