Not edible, but still an egg...
ABC Wednesday
ABC Wednesday
This egg is made out of combarbalita, a Chilean semiprecious stone that presents a great range of colours which depends on the predominance of some minerals or mineralogical associations within the rock. So there. Happy Wednesday!
I hadn't heard of combarbalita - looks nice. So many interesting minerals to see in this world.
ReplyDeleteMe either, haven't heard of this semiprecious stone. But I'm sure pretty soon the market will be flooded with jewelry made out of it.
ReplyDeleteStill in BCN? Will be there in October for a couple of days before the cruise.
Gorgeous, - the shape is so conducive to fitting in the hand, but I fear this egg would be uch too precious to be carrying around.
ReplyDeleteHow exquisite!

ReplyDeleteHi "mar"....long time no see. I'm sure you had a good reason for being busy...life can do that.
ReplyDeleteIt's so good to see you pay me a visit. I always enjoyed your company and hope to see you again throughout the year if time allows.
LOVE this egg. I'm like EastCoastLife...it DOES look like black marble. And it's gorgeous.
Thanks for all your Good Wishes, my dear.....I hope all is good with you and yours----I was thinking about you just the other day----wondering how you were and if you were still blogging......
ReplyDeleteThis "egg" is BEAUTIFUL!!!
