B as in boats
Seen in Northern Spain, near San Sebastian...
For more boat pictures visit TorAa and his boats on monday.
C as in community... one of the best things about blogging is not one's blog itself but the community we've built. It's amazing how small the world can get for us to celebrate happy events, births, anniversaries, small/big achievements, birthdays and the like! Only... life is not always a cheerful day and in the darkest moments is when we need this community to hold together. Please visit my our blog friend Bob- kat, whose little niece is about to leave us. In hard times even the word from a stranger can bring some comfort and it can make a whole difference... thank you. ..
Updated thanks to Naomi :
(see her comment below) that little angel left this world. It's such a tragic and terrible loss...

I totally agree - blogging is about so much more than just documenting your life. The community aspect is what draws me the most, especially since I'm alone most of the time and crave the interaction - even if it is online.
ReplyDeleteI'm so sorry to hear about Bob-kat. What a tragedy.
o you're definitely right there... when i took up blogging all i thought was it would be like pasting up a secret diary and yet anyone who logged on would read it... i didn't even KNOW about comments! ... ive met some of the BEST people here in the "blog-o-sphere"... if you know what i mean...

It's so sad.
ReplyDeleteThe tradigy with Bob-kat's niese brought me completly out of mind. Can't think of anything worse than loosing a child - and under such circumstances.
ReplyDeletePS - Great post. My boat will be posted monday evening. Butt a boat is posted today as well
I went right over Mar and left a note. Having lost a child of my own, I know how they are all feeling. Life can be so cruel!
ReplyDeleteIt is so right what you say ! Blogworld friends became very dear to me. My godness when I imagine that a car hit this poor little girl, I just wonder what I would do to the driver !
ReplyDeleteI still have no boats to show, but I am sure I will see a few on the Garda Lake where we go on Friday !
Mar, thank you so much for your kind and caring comments on my blog and for the mention here. I am touched that some people out there would visit me and leave their support too. You are right, it does mean very much to me. I still cannot believe she is gone.
ReplyDeleteMy blogging friends are everything to me. Sure wouldn't want to have to face a day without knowing I have their support.
ReplyDeleteI am so very sorry to hear about Bob-kat's loss.
Hugs,
Connie
