Balearic Islands: Mallorca, summer 1993. We used to live in northern Germany and spend the holidays in Mallorca, enjoying sunshine, warm weather, calid breeze...
Doesn't the water look inviting? those were the sailing years, away from the beach and the tourists, the actual color of the water was an incredible, shiny, crystal clear turquoise, I wish my little camera could have captured the fascinating shade...

I hope you had a great fun little vacation :).
ReplyDeleteOh, I love the ocean and beaches. Doesn't help me much living in the desert - lol...
Thank you for sharing. Adding your link in a minute :)
Sorry - I hit enter before my URL was complete - been doing that a lot lately.
ReplyDeleteBeutiful color yes! It really is a pity that the cameras often can't pick up the real look of it. I always wish that the camera could catch exactly what the eye is!
ReplyDeleteIt looks beautiful and we sure can get a glimpse of the colour. Thanks for sharing & for stopping by my blog.
ReplyDeleteGorgeous colour!
ReplyDeleteThanks for your comment on my Saturday Scavenger Hunt photo. I love your photo and the explanation that goes with it.
ReplyDeleteWow the water looks so clear and clean. I thought it was a pool (saw the ladder)- but it isn't is it?
ReplyDeletetnchick - it is the Mediterranean sea! pure water and WET! the ladder is from the sailing boat.
ReplyDeleteThe photograper is way up high! Is that you swimming? Nice picture!
ReplyDeleteI can imagine the color of that water, and it is my favorite color scheme!
ReplyDeleteBarbara - that is my "little one" (soon to turn 18 years old) swimming!
ReplyDeleteWhile in the Bahamas I saw water in the colors of blue I have never imagined...it was so beautiful. I took pictures, but they just do not capture the shades of blue like I wish!
ReplyDeleteDid you have a nice little getaway?

That water is a gorgeous colour even if it isn't really accurate in the picture.
ReplyDeleteI am not a swimmer and even I would be tempted :)
Oh...I just want to dive right in and feel the water. Hmmmm. I was in the Caribean 3 years ago. No water nor beach like them in the world. Perfection.
ReplyDeleteMy 'Wet' is up!
Pam
