This is the view to the right of our hotel room, we had a wonderful dinner right here below, at the end of the red road towards the rocks and waves!
Just like the first picture but late in the evening. Not the best pic but I love the colors. The beach was illuminated during the whole night (that's why it looks so orange), inviting swimmers at every hour although the water temperature was only 18-22ºC / 64-72ºF , not my kind of temperature. The retired folks apparently loved the early hours to go for a swim, they were there before sunrise. Followed by the yoga fans, sport groups and of course the runners. At any rate, many sun-hungry north Europeans were present, elderly and young families with small children.

ReplyDeleteWow that's for 2006, you haven't been back since? It's the same really all the time -- well apart from the terrible weather this winter! -- but I love it and that's why I've lived here for 6 years. Hope you get a chance to visit again soon!
