My son took this  pretty picture with his phone while skiing off-piste.  I prefer the groomed slopes.

Ski trails are lined up by poles like this one, found on each side. They are meant for orientation, so you don't unwillingly end up  skiing off-piste. Only the poles on the right side of the trail are painted in bright colours on top, so as to guide your way down the trail in case of bad weather  (fog!!).  I am a sunny skier and don't go out unless the weather plays along,

I took this picture during my recent ski holiday specially for the photohunts.

And the next steps will be to put on my skis and  boogie down the slopes. This is what I have been doing for the past two weeks. Skiing and  another trip in mid January explain my absence from the blogworld. I know I am stretching the themes, but... hello, again!

I just got back from a ski vacation. The last days were very sunny and warm, many took their jackets off to sunbathe instead!   these guys (protected by some editing)  were having a blast playing with the snow at lunch time.
