ABC Wednesday
Gazpacho is a tomato-based, vegetable soup traditionally served cold, originating in the southern Spanish region of Andalucía. Gazpacho is mostly consumed during the summer months, due to its refreshing qualities and cold serving temperature. From the wiki
It is often garnished with chopped vegetables on top, but the pictured one was served in the privacy of our home. Nice to have for lunch when the outside temperature is simply unbearably high, like in the past weeks.
Great choice for G. My sister made me some excellent gazpacho once and I've enjoyed it at restaurants but have never tried making it. Carver, ABC Wed. Team
ReplyDeleteThis really looks delicious and it would be perfect for the hot temperatures we have had for the last few weeks.
ReplyDeleteI think your post will be the most original for the letter G.
YUM! Great choice for G and as a meal in your kind of heat! It's a pity we couldn't have any of that warmth spread up here in the north. There has not been any proper summer at all this year and they say that it's gonna be like this the following summers too unfortunately.
ReplyDeleteDelicious soup looks good and certainly tastes good in hot weather. Unfortunately now it's quite chilly here in Finland so I think I take hot soup instead to get warm.
ReplyDeleteI've never tried it but have heard of it - what a beautiful colour it is.
ReplyDeleteI should try it.
