Q is for quadruped


This  quadruped  is a sculpture of Fernando Botero, a Colombian painter and sculptor who is renowned for his exaggerated, puffed up human and animal forms. Located on Rambla del Raval in Barcelona, the large bronze feline stands with its thick tail. More images from the net are here.
Dimensions: 7,17 m / 23.5 ft long,  2,28 m/ 7.5 ft wide ,  2,16m / 7 ft tall, weight: 2200 Kg / 4850 lb.

  2. I actually recognised it as a Botero just from the photo, he has such an unique style. I love the round forms, it's a statue that invites being touched.
