ABC Wednesday
A flower I encountered during my walk by the beach and the Pacific Ocean in the Southern Hemisphere, where summertime is now coming to an end. I was 4 weeks away from the blogosphere, I only had time for "A" before leaving! More about fuchsias here. It also applies to the color fuchsia, which I much prefer over pink!.
Beautiful flowers. Love those colors.
ReplyDeleteAwesome photo. Many years ago we had one as a house plant. They are strikingly beautiful

Fuchsias are beautiful. I used to drive my mom crazy by popping the flower buds, I just loved that little noise they made.
ReplyDeleteLove fuchsias. I think they look like little ballerinas. Like Jedediah I used to pop the buds too to hear them make a noise.
ReplyDeleteAhh thanks so much, I love this flower but I didn't know it's name indeed!
ReplyDeletebeautiful!

Fuchsias are such gorgeous flowers and a FANTASTIC F-word. :)
ReplyDeleteBeautiful - still winter here, of course, so this colorful capture makes me very happy. I used to keep a couple of hanging fuchsias during the summer but have failed to do so the last few years - you've encouraged me to start again.
ReplyDeleteWe always plant fuschias in pots and hang them along our patio - all different varieties! They're so fabulous!

Beautiful shot of the fuschia and a good choice for the F word mar.
ReplyDeleteWhatever that flower is called, it is very pretty. It at least made your walk more pleasant.
ReplyDeleteIn my Misfit blog, I refer to my daughter as Fuchsia. Mostly because her hair has been that color many times now.

You reminded me of how much I love fuchsias! We have them growing in Hawaii, but not here in NM. I do miss them.
ReplyDeleteI don't think it would be ideal for me to play. I can only come up with one word, and it's four letters long.. Haha.. I really cannot even imagine flowers today after what surprise we got today outside... Beautiful!
ReplyDeleteYour Fuchsia flower fitted fine for the F~Day and a fantastic foto too!!
ReplyDeleteThis is absolutely gorgeous!!! I have put it as the background on the desktop of my computer! :-)))
ReplyDeleteSooo beautiful
ReplyDeleteI remember when really first time discovered the beauty of these flowers:
On our way up to Osorno - in 1994.
I'll never forget;-)
What a pretty photo. :-) This is a good choice for the F post.
