R is for R & R

ABC Wednesday

R is for  rest and relax.. How about doing so at the North Sea? these are the traditional beach chairs, they offer a full-stretch-out, footrests with adjustable height, and a small sideboard to hold  your food and drinks, don't they look fun and inviting?

  8. Lovely beach and wonderful to see all those chairs, but we shall have to wait some time before we can enjoy the sea, the beach and the sun!

  9. Goodness, that's a lot of colorful chairs on the beach. They do sound just about perfect with their footrests and adjustable everything.

  11. R & R! How clever! I would have never thought of that. Like the photo with the thought too. Well done!

  16. So many chairs and they do look comfy. I am not a beach person, but I do believe I could enjoy that beach with a good book, and a glass of sweet ice tea.

  19. Love all of the colors, but they make me laugh with all of the ways they are turned.. I can imagine the crowds of the summer...

  22. Yes, it would be nice if we had this at the Belgian coast too ! it's so practical and looks much nicer than the beach chairs !
The country is still more or less under water and now the poor people are sitting in mud ! It's really terrible when I see this on TV. It's impossible to go there.

  23. The chairs look wonderful, but the sky could do with a bit more blue in it. Unless it's just the way the photo turned out and it's a beautiful sunny day! In that case: it all looks very inviting!

  24. I UP for that!!! Man! Good thing that wasn't OUR beach TODAY... all those things would have BLOWN AWAY!!!

  25. When I was about 12-14 years old (back in the dark ages), I had a pen pal from Germany. She sent me a photo of her on the beach, in a chair just like those!!

  27. I like this picture. Its kind of strange as well. Peering over the grass to a ... deckchair convention(!?)

  28. Some R&R sounds so good right now! :)

  29. Those are great. I love how they are scattered randomly across the beach and the view through the dune grass. They remind me of Holland.
