SkyWatch
Chilean sky. Like the one the rescued Chilean miners were able to see yesterday afer almost 70 days of being trapped. The media coverage reached an incredible number of people, did you watch part of the rescue? The little cloud looks like a cotton ball, it sure looks like hope too. (Update: I took this picture during one of my visits to Chile, my country of birth)

I did watch part of the miner rescue. Unbelievable and uplifting.
ReplyDeleteGorgeous shot Mar and I love the cotton ball cloud against the deep blue sky.
If that wasn't a GOD story I don't know what was! Thank you Lord, for their safe rescue! Amen!
ReplyDeleteOh yeah I saw part of the rescue. What a joyous occasion. Hope the miners did not have any post-traumatic symptoms.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful skies and I watched that all (only why I wasn't at work) and it was the most moving thing I've ever seen on TV. Those brave men are true heros. Their rescuer's the same. :) To all job Well done. Mario Sepulveda expressed it so well for them all. :)
ReplyDeleteYes, indeed I did! Wasn't it wonderful that all the miners were rescued? A miracle!
ReplyDeleteI absolutely watched & it was so heart-wrenching, lots of tears of joy for them all!!!
ReplyDeleteAnd that's a INCREDIBLE sky for them to have seen upon ascent from the mine! Soooo very blue!!!
Wasn't the rescue fantastic!! I'm so very happy for all of them and proud of the effort their country put into saving each of them and their courage! And I love your beautiful skies and cotton ball clouds! How wonderful the open sky must have been to each of the miners!! Have a great weekend!

Hi,
ReplyDeletebellissima foto.
La nuvola sembra veramente un batuffolo di cotone !
Myriam
We are so happy they are out and hope that they all adjust well to real life again.
ReplyDeleteJust like a cotton ball. I wonder if those men will ever look at the sky again and not really notice it - as we so often do. I should think every day will have a special preciousness. It's a marvellous story and I have been thinking of them often during the past weeks. So thankful that they were all brought out alive and seemingly well.
ReplyDeleteI watched part of it too, Mar, and I cried every time they brought a new man up! Love your sky photo!
ReplyDeleteI did not watch, but my heart and prayers were with them. My father survived a mine cave in many years ago. My cousin did not.
ReplyDeleteWow, a dreamy illusive capture!! Nice vibrant colors!!
