cotton ball

SkyWatch

Chilean sky. Like the one  the
rescued Chilean miners  were able to see yesterday afer almost 70 days of being trapped.  The media coverage reached an  incredible number of people, did you watch part of the rescue?  The little cloud looks like a cotton ball, it sure looks like hope too. (Update: I took this picture during one of my visits to Chile, my country of birth)

  4. Beautiful skies and I watched that all (only why I wasn't at work) and it was the most moving thing I've ever seen on TV. Those brave men are true heros. Their rescuer's the same. :) To all job Well done. Mario Sepulveda expressed it so well for them all. :)

  10. Just like a cotton ball. I wonder if those men will ever look at the sky again and not really notice it - as we so often do. I should think every day will have a special preciousness. It's a marvellous story and I have been thinking of them often during the past weeks. So thankful that they were all brought out alive and seemingly well.

  12. I did not watch, but my heart and prayers were with them. My father survived a mine cave in many years ago. My cousin did not.
