  5. Hm. I can't help this time! I'm sure Amoeba will know though! They do look like the burrs the pets pick up from time to time -- owwwwy! But they also look BIGGER than them -- maybe cuz it's a macro. You find some fascinating stuff out there!

  18. These look like the fruits of the American Cocklebur, Xanthium strumarium. It was introduced to Europe several years ago, and now has a reputation as a noxious weed.
