v i o l e t at the market place

When I read  violet was this week's theme, I thought of lavender and the beautiful  lavender fields. The closest image I have  is the following shot from a market place last summer in France,  featuring lavender soap and the Provence cicadas.

And another favorite violet found at the same market place:

True Colours Thursday is brought to you by Poopsie Blue.

Next week's color is green  **

  18. Old lady or not, I love lavender. :) It's one of my favourites, especially growing in the garden. I love cutting it back after it has flowered, just for the smell that lingers.
