When I read violet was this week's theme, I thought of lavender and the beautiful lavender fields. The closest image I have is the following shot from a market place last summer in France, featuring lavender soap and the Provence cicadas.
And another favorite violet found at the same market place:
This first picture is gorgeous ! although I hate the odor of lavender it makes me think of old women ! (I shouldn't spit in the own soup, lol)
ReplyDeleteI bought one of those violet soaps at the Coustellet market in France last year! You make me long for sun, France, Provence and holliday. *Looks outside at the rain falling down and sighs*
ReplyDeleteLavender did cross my mind, those tarts look very yummy are they Blueberry?
ReplyDeleteNice Violets...

ReplyDeleteOld lady or not, I love lavender. :) It's one of my favourites, especially growing in the garden. I love cutting it back after it has flowered, just for the smell that lingers.
