This week's color is beige. I was rather lost until a look out of my window showed me the way to the beach yesterday morning, strong winds were lifting up much sand in the air and believe me, it was a bit difficult to take pictures. This is what it looked like, fantastically empty during a school morning. And beige, if you ask me :)
Which reminded me of the sand sculptures I saw in Gran Canaria, Canary Islands, two years ago before Christmas. Hope the Three Wise Men are beige enough for this post!
Next week's color is scarlet ** True Colours Thursday
Very nice and it is beige ! believe a painter's eye, lol !
ReplyDeleteThe sand sculptures are gorgeous, sand looks beige to me....
ReplyDeleteI just love sand sculpturs and these are great.
ReplyDeleteI like the way the sculptures seem to be watching the guy with the camera!
ReplyDeleteAren't sand sculptures something! I'm so in awe of them...
ReplyDeleteIt's rather a restful colour, isn't it. That's why your Kings look so relaxed.
ReplyDeleteLove the sand sculptures. Wonderful!
ReplyDeleteWe have those beach sculptures in our area...I believe they all begin next month if I'm not mistaken.
ReplyDeleteYes, yes....I'd say beige too. And windy!!!
Beige enough? I should THINK so! We have a fella up in Ocean City who does a different set of sand sculptures each week all summer long. They stay up for the week and then he makes new ones. My favorite is when he does The Last Supper. It's AMAZING the detail he can put into sand! Your kings are wonderful too! They don't look QUITE so royal nodding there in the sand...
ReplyDeletethose sand sculptures always blow me away. and yes I think that the beach covers beige very well. I would have been boring and taken a picture of my kitchen. :p hee hee
ReplyDeletehave a great day!
A Beige beach has to be my fav. beige.
ReplyDeleteVery clever sand sculpture too.
Best wishes
Blue
Looks beige to me! The three wise men are awesome!
ReplyDeleteThe sand sculptures are amazing and I also love the first shot. Nothing like an empty beach. That's why sometimes I like to go to the beach during the winter when almost no one is there, at least on my state's beaches where it's chilly in the winter.
ReplyDeleteSomething just DRAW me into your blog and now I understand why! It was my beach-radar ;-)
ReplyDeleteThis was just what I needed to see. We have a really gray day over here today, but I'm not so depressed about it since we just ordered a trip again... First week in May we're going to the secret destination we promised Jane. To the warmth since that was her wish. Hoooooray!!!
I always think of the beach as blue, rather tahn beige. The sand sculpture is beyond amazing. I have trouble making those bucket castles. Lovely to visit you again. Netchick sent me.
ReplyDeletereally excellent - don't know more to say.
ReplyDeleteI'm just watching
The people who do those sand sculptures amaze me. So talented!
