untitled

Strong winds appeared in our area about 10 days ago while I was gone. Many pine trees were pulled by the roots, like the pictured one,  a very unusual sight ! this tree used to be in a roundabout close to my home. We lost one tree in our garden  but the house wasn't damaged, only a wall shared with a  neighbor, so it wasn't too bad.

I just got  back from my trip and I am dealing with jet lag... I have a terribly busy week but I will start  blogging on a regular basis very soon, if I remember how to do it... At least I remembered my password!  See you soon.

What a shame about the trees, though I am glad that you and your family experienced minimal damage.

  16. High winds can really do some damage. It gives you and idea of just how strong mother nature is when she can hurt a big tree like in the photo.

So very glad you are back from your trip. Can't wait to see your photos.
    Take good care.
    Hugs,
