a (very) short update

Thanks for dropping by while I am away. You might be thinking like my dear blogfriend ECL, who left the following comment:

I am very sorry about this, but my sister's antivirus makes the whole process so slow that it isn't any fun... so I decided to wait until I get back to blog again. And now please excuse me, but I have to go!!

    OMG. Have not been to Santiago de Chile since -97. It's too long ago.
