Mono-chrome Christmas decorations are seldom in Spain but gaining in popularity. Pictured here is a centric, well-known pastry-shop and café, established in 1898 in Barcelona. I love the chocolate guys staring out the window! By the way, I am using the new geotagging feature as started by blogger in draft, it is not working as I thought it would. It linked Spain above on its own...
True Colours Thursday is brought to you by Poopsie Blue.
I think they have a lot of white trees in the US and Scandinavia just now.
ReplyDeleteThat is good shot, my wife will love the reflections.
I love this one, as a christmas tree fan & reflection photo taker.
ReplyDeleteA perfect entry for WHITE.
And, many thanks for joining in.
I'm not familar with Spain - hang my head in shame & saw I've never visited, so am going to enjoy following you, now we've connected.
Best wishes
Blue
I can not imagine Christmas with hot weather....
ReplyDeleteWould be nice for a change, nice tree....
Hello my friend,
ReplyDeleteHope you are doing well.
As usual your photos are just beautiful. I love the fact that all styles of trees are in style.
The modern ones are lovely but my heart belongs to the good old lighted tree with old ornaments.
Take good care.
Sending you hugs,
Pretty tree and I love the picture with the reflections a lot!
ReplyDeleteI also like Christmas trees which are not overloaded with decorations so that I still can see the green branches and I still prefer gold and red as colors. But what they invented this year here as Christmas decoration is just awful all black and white !! White or black Christmas balls, white trees, black garlands, it looks like a funeral decoration ! I noticed with pleasure that the classical decoration sells well and they are stuck on their funeral stuff !
ReplyDeleteHi,
ReplyDeleteI found you through Blue's meme.
Very unusual tree, nice whites. :-)
I love this type of window display showing reflections, but I couldn't spot your "chocolate" guys!
ReplyDeleteoops! now I see them! they look like chocolate hedgehogs!
ReplyDeleteI bet you could find a Christmas tree in any color these days.
ReplyDeleteCool picture. I would LOVE to eat that chocolate hedgehog! But he would have to stop looking at me.
That is an odd - but yes, pretty - Christmas tree! And I too like the chocolate guys looking out the window. I would really LIKE one of the chocolate guys right now with my coffee... :)
ReplyDeleteI really like the second picture with all the reflections
ReplyDeleteI'm not sure I care for that tree, but the picture is really good. I guess I'm a bit spoiled by more real looking trees. We have a lot of trees in white that look more natural (if you can call a fake white tree natural...LOL!)
ReplyDeleteAnd eating chocolate sounds great to me!
I hope that you enjoy the book!
Great looking modern tree although I still prefer my green! :)
ReplyDeleteThe chocolate guys are a fun find!
Twinkly and white. A beautiful simple tree. The chocolate guys in the window look fun and yummy :)
ReplyDeleteVery pretty tree, but I love the chocolate guys! Not only are they cute, but I bet they would be tasty!
ReplyDeleteSo pretty! And as Aileni said, I love the reflections in the second shot!
ReplyDeleteThat geotagging feature almost ruined my entire day! I tried to import the google map feature on my blog, and accidently deleted my Haloscan comment form. All of my comments were gone, one year worth of bloggy love and friendship! GONE!! Trying to get it undone did not work, at first. But I did manage to do it in the end!! Thank God for that!
ReplyDeleteNice shots, I love the reflection in the second one!
I would like a closer look at one of the chocolate guys. A MUCH closer look! My sister had an all white tree the first year she was married -- and no her children have grown children, so that was awhile ago.
