A snapshot from Moutiers in France - the access point to the Les Trois Vallées ski area - showing a lovely bridge over the Isère river, which runs through the centre of town. Taken on that lucky July day when the lady on the left wore her favorite bright red t-shirt to qualify for Ruby Tuesday! Another view taken some years ago is below.
It really is a lovely bridge. And how lucky that the woman with the red shirt showed up just in time for Ruby Tuesday!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful place,Mar! I'd love to go there!
ReplyDeleteMine's up if you got a chance, HERE!
Another beautiful landscape with a bridge!
ReplyDeleteThis looks like a lovely place to be.
And yes, wasn't that lady so nice to wear her red shirt that day.
Lovely Mar.
Perfect combo photo! And the bridge looks like it might be a darker shade of red itself.
ReplyDeleteNice bridges again ! I also found some !! Finally ! Was already desperate !!
ReplyDeleteSuch beautiful scenery. Hard not to fall in love with it. Great pictures.
ReplyDeleteLovely setting...looks like it hasn't changed much since the first shot. That's a nice thing to see!
ReplyDeleteOh what a nice picture!
ReplyDeleteOkay ... it's only Tuesday and I am just STAMPIN' my FEET! You are such a show-off! :-P How come YOU get sooooo many good bridges? Oh yea... because YOU get to travel so mUch! And you get to just sit back in your jammies and drink coffee and pluck these out of your archives while I have to go comb the far reaches of my drivable universe to try to come up with barely a bridge! Fair was never promised in this life, was it?
ReplyDeleteAlright... did I MENTION that I LOVE your little bridge?
You have some beautiful bridge photos on here! The scenery is gorgeous!

That's delightful Mar. There is something so romantic to me about towns with a river running through it and places where the gap is bridged.
ReplyDeletethis is so lovely... a really nice little bridge and the town looks charming.
ReplyDeleteWhat a beautiful little town, Mar...And the Lady over on the left is quite Beautiful, too!
ReplyDeleteLove both pictures! It is great to see it closer-up in that second picture. Charming, Charming!
You'd almost never guess those shots were several years apart. Some places are just timeless that way.

Great pics on all three post about how mankind can brigding the gap with great architect work - the older the better :-)
ReplyDeletethe red shirt sure does stand out
ReplyDeletelovely photos
This is the reason that I want to visit France.
ReplyDeleteoh you just made me homesick! I was there this summer! Some of my family was from Moutier!
ReplyDeleteOh my... what beauty!! I am not sure how I missed visiting this one yesterday, tho sure am glad I saw it while visiting Day 4 post, lol. You sure can tell that these streets were never meant for automobiles. Horses and small carriages was about all it was thought to be used for when everything was built, way back when. So much changes in a mere 100 years, and I'm guessing these are far older than just that.
ReplyDeleteWhoof!! I would enjoy walking along there, it's all so pretty. Bark!
