Our sailing vacation was interrupted by a short business meeting in Italy. We had a drink at this place which had black furniture and a great urban view! The wall also shows black... but I didn't have a Black Russian!
I love the artsy look of those chairs. Were they comfy? Looks cold -- or HOT! Couldn't have that here.
ReplyDeleteVery good! I also like that tall "black" doorway across the street. Lots of activity--and black--here. All of it good. Nice shot. Thanks.
ReplyDeleteGood one, Mar! I have to search my photos to see if I have any.
ReplyDeletePerfect for the theme!!
ReplyDeleteI'd like to be sitting there with a drink, myself!
ReplyDeleteOh! I love Black Russians!
ReplyDeleteNice shot. I love the feel to it :)
LOL! Well, you should have! That was quick thinkin' -- to capture black on your vacation! OH! I just remembered now that I have some BLACK from MY vacation too! But this morning I just popped up a quick archive shot to get me going! I completely MISSED the announcement of PB! (obviously...)
ReplyDeleteWell if you want me to feel bad that you had to stop in Italy, I don't! I'm jealous! Great image for project black.
ReplyDeleteI love the table... what a great design. That would look great in my yard!
ReplyDeleteLovely shot! I'd love to be there...
ReplyDeleteA sailing vacation AND a stop in Italy? Not bad, even without a black russian. I like the shot of the sail right below too.
ReplyDeleteLots of interesting details in this photo. I'm always intrigued by the icons built into the architecture in Europe.
ReplyDeletethose chairs look like they were hot to me. cool picture!
ReplyDeleteA beautiful decoration for a little pause at this place! Great time!
ReplyDeleteabsolutely a great urban view
ReplyDeleteI noticed how the little green ball plant stand out with the security gate behind it and that great archway
my long winded way of saying how much there is to discover in your photo

P.S.:Thank you so much for all your kind comments during the pregnancy and on Lily's birth announcement.
Trying to return to "normal" now that my life comes back to "sort of normal", too. *g*
Love the "urban view". Great choice for project black. I look forward to more interesting pictures.
ReplyDeleteThis is a scene I'd love to just step into. OOoo--it'd be great for a scene in a movie!
ReplyDeleteLooks like you were ready to go for Project Black, too...I guess all of "us" should have some in the archives while we're eager to take new captures.
Nice wording! I love the table and chairs!
ReplyDeleteGreat black post, Mar! :)
ReplyDeleteInteresting environment to have a meeting, the added circular plant adds fun to the shot
ReplyDeleteP.S. I do Anna's Project Black on this blog: Answers to the Questions
ReplyDeleteGood first take on the black theme. I'm not participating but I am sure I'll enjoy the black posts you and others do. It's a good one to work with.
ReplyDeleteHow nice to see you here again Mar!
ReplyDeleteThat Project Black is very challenging I think! I just love it!
That's fun! I love the lady walking in the background!
ReplyDeleteI wish we could go to Italy or anywhere right now and I'd sit at any color table...you just happened to get the gorgeous black one.
ReplyDeleteLooks like a cute little place to stop for a drink!
ReplyDeleteThe Italians have such a great sense of design - I like that black patio furniture.
ReplyDeleteOf course only in a sunny country black furniture looks nice ! We are back and as soon as we crossed the border after Aachen it started to rain ! Italy, Austria, Germany sunny, Belgium rain ! Thank you so much for your birthday wishes ! I had a very nice one ! the cousin and his wife Mr. Gattino had digged out after 20 years, turned out very funny and we had a lot of laughter !
ReplyDeletei wouldn't mind stopping for a drink there :)
