I hope it is not too late to join the crowd. I saw green yesterday while seating in a Japanese restaurant at lunch time with Mr Mar. They have great food, even for non-sushi people like me. The huge bamboo sticks (they are about 4 m/13 ft tall) decorate the entrance. Click to enlarge.
1. When I fell in love, I knew it was the right thing to do.
2. I love it when the flowers bloom and it heats up outside!
3. Oh no! The internet connection is down, it's time to clean the house...
4. I watch little TV , I couldn't tell you which one is the craziest tv show ever.
5. Cheese and bread, grapes and wine make a great meal!
6. I never promised you a rose garden...
7. And as for the weekend, tonight I'm looking forward to a relaxed evening at home (see nr. 5), tomorrow my plans include gardening and Sunday, I want to enjoy a sunny day!
Lovely photo - the tender green and pink complement each other perfectly.
ReplyDeleteYour weekend sounds like the perfect spring weekend!!!
ReplyDeleteLove the picture.
I LOVE the bamboo Mar! We actually have a field of it growing down by the pool I visit in Summer. I never thought to go down and photograph it though. NICE find!!!
ReplyDeleteOnce upon a time I HAD a rose garden. Well... okay ... I had two rose bushes. I managed to kill them both. :(
Great Thursday Thirteen...I wish I could geet motivated to clean my house when the internet connection goes down!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful shot and I enjoyed your fill ins.
ReplyDeleteI may have to start dealing with my roses. I let them grow however they please and the boughs are forming low arches over paths, but I have to duck under them. I got hit in the face by a thorny branch yesterday. I guess I could say. I didn't promise you that the roses wouldn't jump up and bite you.
I should clean the house when the Internet is down, instead of pacing back and forth until I get connected again ;-)
ReplyDeleteOh Mar I love bamboo! A wonderful close-up!
ReplyDeleteWe could grow bamboo in Florida, but it doesn't grow here...too cold and arid.

Hope your dream weekend turns out to be perfect. Love your choice of green.
ReplyDeleteHugs,
I like your answers and the bamboo photo is beautiful
ReplyDeletehow beautiful! I love the green!
ReplyDeleteBamboo is so pretty...BUT, certain types in the garden can completely take over! I've always loved Bamboo, but I don't have any in my garden. LOVELY Picture, Mar.
ReplyDeleteHope you have a lovely weekend, my dear.
Mar: I loved your list. I too am happier with 90% less TV. CNN repeated itself so much. Then there was that embarrassing song they play with the captions people e-mail in like dopes, and Don Lemon just talked too loud. Glenn Beck is an idiot. So yes, I am happier otherwise and I recycle!!!:)
ReplyDeleteEnjoy your cheese and wine meal tonight, and have a great weekend!
ReplyDeleteIt's a great picture, I especially like the graphic composition!
I love how you framed that bamboo shot... such a simple, wonderful image!
ReplyDeleteYour weekend sounds like a good plan, too :-)
Beautiful green bambou. I regard for a relax weekend too but with the daughters difficult to have quiet time because they improvise so often!
ReplyDeleteAn evening relaxing sounds so nice. I'm already super sleepy and its only 11:51am.
ReplyDelete#6-lol
ReplyDeleteHappy Friday! :)
Your weekend sounds fantastic! Love the bamboo shot, btw...it grew wild in Japan near where I lived and I could hear it rustle hollowly in the wind...nature's windchimes!
ReplyDeleteThanks for playing, have fun this weekend :-)
Mar,
ReplyDeleteguess I did love #5.
Excactly what I need this weekend
(But papa will go shopping and continue preparing for our move to the summerhome - haha - that's only a pleasure).
btw. My sign (Photohunt) will be posted within an hour or so.
