I was recently way up high in the French Alps in the ski area shown in the above picture . Those skiers are in high spirits because they are on holidays. And since the whole Northern hemisphere is ready for Spring, here is another shot for the theme, taken last April while I was high on a hill overlooking the Toscana (Tuscany)

Because our planet is beautiful and we only have one, remember Earth Hour , created to take a stand against the greatest threat our planet has ever faced, Earth Hour uses the simple action of turning off the lights for one hour to deliver a powerful message about the need for action on global warming. On Saturday at 8pm your time it will be the moment to turn everything electrical off in your house! even if it means no blogging during a whole hour ...

It is about simple changes that will collectively make a difference – from businesses turning off their lights when their offices are empty, to households turning off appliances rather than leaving them on standby.

  4. Great photographs Mar. I'm not doing a photohunt post this week because I'm turning my computer off tonight for 24 hours (imagine me in a state of withdrawal tomorrow). I'm glad you post early though because I love your photographs.
