participantsThis was indeed not a light theme...I opted for the pictured Saliure lift in Courchevel, French Alps, a 160- person cable car. Heavy machinery, heavy cable car! specially lovely after a heavy snowfall (so spoke the skier!) And cheers to the clever engineers!
OH don't mention the heavy snow fall...we are so sick of it here. LOL!

Heavy yes, but they always make me nervous for just that reason. Such a thin wire to hold up such a heavy object, full of heavy people and skiing equipment.
