These are classic pictures of Hamburg, Germany , where we used to live before moving to Spain. Das Rathaus, the City Hall :
Jungfernstieg and the Alster Lake. If you like maps, here is one!
Hauptbahnhof, the main train station.
The reason I chose this classic pictures is that I am currently in Hamburg, Germany, posting early with a great view of the Alster Lake downtown and visiting late as I will be home late on saturday. These pictures were in my archives and were taken in the summer, Hamburg is cloudy and cold (max 10ºC/ 50ºF) at this time of the year but there isn't such thing as bad weather, only inappropriate clothing!! It´s a pity for the hobby photographer, though, sunny pictures are much prettier... Happy hunting!
Beautiful! I hope you are having a fun time in Hamburg! Have a Mohn Kuchen for me!
