This is our favorite fish restaurant in Barcelona, overlooking the old port. This is the only place I have seen offering such an option for us ladies to hang our handbags. It looks like a fish too! I find it truly amusing!!! We celebrated Mr 19's last bday as a teenager with a very nice luncheon here. Thanks for all the birthday wishes :)
I couldn't tell what it was for a moment! The nearest I've ever got to that was a restaurant that had clever hooks on the bottom of the table in London.
that is pretty cute, and so very handy. I hate having tos tick my purse on the ground. I usually hang it off the back of the chair, but many restaurants are irritating enough to have rounded backs on their chairs
Well that IS cute! I wonder... can you take off your shoes and hang them on the (what are they? not scales... not fins... ribs?) ??? Well... it's just a thought! LOL!
What a novel idea!! I'm always looking for a place for my handbag, as I won't put an expensive handbag on the ground! I wish all restaurants offered something like this!!
What a great idea... But what about us men folk hey? I suppose it's better than US holding the bag ;) I wonder if that was the original intent, or if it was something that evolved by accident??? I guess, we will never know... Here from Michele's today... Bernie

I was at a chicken fried steak place a few months ago and this woman walks in and places this door hanger looking thing on the edge of her table and then plops her purse down on it. Her children seemed unphased, as if this is how mom hangs her purse in every restaurant.
