we'll have to wait until september...or not, it depends on what the weather decides to do this year...
Cool... I don't think I've ever seen an almond tree!
ReplyDeleteHanulf, exactly my thoughts! I have never seen an almond tree! Do they get real big Mar?
ReplyDeleteWow, I've never ever seen an almond tree - as I know of anyway.
ReplyDeleteI think it's very very beautiful! So fresh green too.
They seem to be getting quite big. I like the close-up pic. I've never seem almonds on the tree before - just in a bag of nuts!
ReplyDeleteA beautiful tree and those almonds look very promising. We have a hazel tree which keeps the squirrels happy.
ReplyDeleteI think it is so exciting to have an Almond tree anbd that actually gives you Almonds..if the weather is right...I hope it is, this year, I don't know anyone who has there own Almond tree except you, my dear! Does the tree smell like Almonds? (lol)
ReplyDeleteIf it was possible to like you more, I now do. I can not believe you have an almond tree. Pft. Jealous!
ReplyDeleteI like to eat the almonds under the tree, breaking the fruit between two stones as I did it when I was a child!
ReplyDeleteChut!! Don't repeat it Mar!
So it DOES really grow almonds! YUM! Can you eat them right off the tree? Do they have to be cooked or something? I am so UNaware of how nuts work!!!
ReplyDeleteI have never seen an almond tree, Mar. I loved seeing it in bloom and it is nice to see the fruit of that blooming! Wish I could have some of the nuts.
ReplyDeleteCool almond tree!!! When we lived in Sharjah growing up as little kids, we lived in an Arab style house for a while... The courtyard had an almond tree in the centre... I have a lot of great memories of that house... There in the gulf I remember the tree bore fruit somewhere in June-July
