I am not a stamp collector but a round one was rare enough to me, that's why I kept it. It is from an ex co-worker who was traveling in New Zealand, remember those days when people actually wrote letters? Happy weekend :)
That's the first time I see a round stamp ! That's amazing ! Didn't even know that it exists. Such a stamp I would have kept too ! You just reminded me that I forgot to publish my post for today ! And it's already finished since 7 am !
It sure is rare. A round stamp. That's awesome. I agree with you, writing letters now-a-days are almost a past. Emails, Cellphones and others took their place. Thanks for dropping by.
Oh.My.Gosh! You KNOW I looooooove this! Oh yes I do!!! I have a triange stamp for Korea that my daughter got me while she was there. But I have NO round stamps! HOW COOL!!!
I have never seen a round stamp... so it must be rare. I remember when stamps here were 5 cents... I think they were still 5 cents when I sent out my wedding invitations... 34 years ago today.
What a rare and wonderful stamp! I'm used to see a lot of them since my first job as a grown up was at the post office, but I've never seen that one for sure :-)
It's a pity though that stamp collection more or less is on the way to disappear. Nowadays not many collect stamps - everybody is sending emails.
Maybe some day in the future, these stamps will be even more rare and worth a fortune. Who knows.
Actually never seen a round one before and can hardly remember when people sent letters LoL Wishing you a great end to your week too! Btw: Your now on my blogroll - of course - and should have been long time ago:-)
LOL! Your brothers story cracked me up! That would have NEVER worked for me - our priests new our family like their own! They would have just patted my head and sent me on my way! Derek got communion though at his friend Scott's funeral! Derek was a pall bearer and they were invited up before the rest of us. He was not sitting with ME because he was sitting with Scott's family! Sooooo up he went! He's not even BAPTIZED!!! Oooops!
Thanks for your comment, the best part of every post! ☀ IMPORTANT: ☀ kindly leave your direct link to the current meme, if you have multiple blogs. Thank you very much!!
