photo hunt: steps

Photo Theme - Join the blogroll - Visit participants.

I am showing different pictures this time, the first one it's not my home, no, no, it belongs to a hotel in Genova, Italy. I have already posted different views of this staircase, now it is time for the steps!

which look like this if you are looking up:

The following picture shows metal steps, now you are actually looking down and normally you would see lots of snow here but it was taking recently, now you have seen a different perspective of the French Alps. Right here!

And now some Italian flair: a small place in Tuscany, lovely village, vivid flowers and lots of history behind those steps...

  2. Yeap, all great examples. Was it the one from Tuscany that is missing a piece at the edge, it just adds to the story of the step as well as the character.

  11. Oh - you make me home-sick for Europe...I love especially the steps from the Tuscan home :)...One of my dreams to have a house in the Tuscany (yeah right - like that would ever happen)...

Welcome back. As I posted my picture tonight, I was actually thinking of you, because the steps I 'show-case' remind me of Europe.

I hope you had a grant time on your vacation.

  24. Yes, the step from Tuscany is great. And I love the red runner down the curving staircase as well... how ornate and beautiful.

Those metal open metal steps have always made me nervous and I cannot explain why.

  34. Aren't steps in Europe just lovely?
They just use the material at hand - and it all comes out either natural or elegant.
