Thursday Thirteen [38]

yes: another random TT!

01. We are in the middle of a long weekend in Spain since both Dec. 6th and Dec 8th are national holidays.
02. Very many people use this weekend for a short vacation (not us!) since the holidays are traditionally spent with the family
03. I was downtown on tuesday and I couldn't believe how many people were carrying suitcases along!
04. I enjoy going to the city center to admire all the beautiful Xmas decorations
05. But it's the crowded shops I don't like

06. In case you saw my wednesday post : it's not an example of my baking, it's rather the proof that I am always alert trying to make things easier for me :)
07. I used a cake-mix, deliciously chocolaty! which comes in a bag : open it, pour the ready mix into a pan, bake it for 40 min!!
08. Even the silicone baking pan in the form (and color) of a Xmas tree came with the ready mix.
09. I almost considered it to be a round business, except for I didn't use a round baking dish...
10. No header for this TT because the TT hub doesn't offer a Xmas one and I cannot make a header myself... Update: Thanks to Renee, I found an appropiate header, thanks Goofy Girl!
11. Only 17 days until Xmas...
12. Only 26 days until our 22nd wedding anniversary...
13. Merry clickmas! click and comment! (this sentence is from an on-line newspaper, I adapted it a bit to fit in here!)

  4. I didn't know that there are holidays in Spain on 6th Dec ! In Belgium Santa Claus is the main feast for the children were they get their gifts (more than at Christmas) but it's not a holiday. I haven't been in town yet because the weather is so awful ! Storm and rain. We had our 37th wedding anniversary yesterday !

  18. Merry Clickmas...snort! My agent, upon reading about your national holidays, is pretty jealous.

I tried telling her she just came off a long Thanksgiving weekend two weeks ago and should shut her hole.

I think I might be grounded now.

Thanks for coming back to see me! I enjoyed your random TT!

Don't enjoy the crowds either - we could hardly walk around in Hamburg last saturday. It was packed to the seems. We walked to the harbour instead to get some air! Haha!

  31. Holidays, so much fun and great excuses to get away!!

Merriest Christmas wishes to you Mar!

  32. I don't care for crowded shops either. Ugh.

As for the ready-made cake mixes... If you add milk, instead of water, it makes the cake all that much more delicious. It's kind of my way of claiming 'baker' rights. [grin]

    Happy T-13, Mar!
