And this is not the Mississippi but the Elbe River! which flows into the North Sea. We took another boat (public transportation) for a small tour since we had someone who had never been to Hamburg with us. It was a cold saturday morning, with only about 6 C/ 42 F , which doesn't seem too bad but the cold wind and a bit of rain did the rest...
beautiful! Mar - I think it's great you've started a pic blog. ;-)
ReplyDeleteoh that's funny... I had to look twice at where you were! :)
ReplyDeleteWow, how strange! It does sound cold, though. Hope you had a good time.
ReplyDeleteI thought it was the Mississippi for a second too and I hadn't even read the name on the boat yet...weird how the brain does those tricks.
ReplyDeleteGreat pix...looks just like the Miss!
hehe, now you know what i was referring to when i talked about the "cold". Brave of you to leave 22C Barcelona for Hamburg. But now i am still here freezing, and you are back to the Mediterranean. That just ain't fair... ;)
ReplyDeleteGlad you had a fab time, eventhough the weather and the chill factor were not at their best.
She looks like a fun ship. Wish I could have been there.
ReplyDeleteWhat is the Missippi Queen going in Hamburg? I like your new seal too.
ReplyDeleteGreat pic. I think I had preferred to be on the Mississippi though....
ReplyDeleteHow did that boat get over there??!!
ReplyDeleteThe Mississipi on the Elbe ! That's nice especially now in November lol !
ReplyDeleteLOL, LOL...The Mississippi Queen...That is marvelous! And in Hamburg, yet!
ReplyDeleteWE have a Mississippi Queen too! I think you stole her! Shouldn't you have an Elbe Queen??? I would LOVE to be on your boat though! EVEN in the cold ... but yea... that IS pretty cold to be hangin' out on the water! Brrr! It's okay -- I'll bring my hat!
