It worked its way through it and now you see it growing through this small hole! isn't this something? I am very fond of this shot and very proud of the little branch :)

day 11 - photo hunt: growth
This is a small gardenia which is doing very well outdoors. One fine day while watering the plants I noticed a small branch had found an impediment for further growth: an older leaf. It worked its way through it and now you see it growing through this small hole! isn't this something? I am very fond of this shot and very proud of the little branch :)

ReplyDeleteThanks for your comment but Arthur is not british ! I named him after my Onkel Arthur the brother of my grandpa Max. (we also had a cat called Max) Our cats besides the english once from my son all have names of my uncles and aunts (lol) !

Hurrah for the new growth. It found it's way to get through! Gardenia's are one of my favorites. My husband loved them too. I just love the smell!

ReplyDeleteI wish I had a gardenia, I've got some orchids but they keep getting mysteriously and inexplicably "pruned." That's the hazards of having kids I suppose but I really wish they'd leave my orchids alone.
