First I have to point out that I have posted this picture before (I don't think it is against the rules, is it?? plus I am a recycling pro!) and second: the cats were perfectly happy, they could jump in and out of the window anytime. Some of you were somewhat disturbed by the fence the first time I posted this pic. The window fence is only meant to keep unwanted people outside!
This is one of those pictures with a surprising after- effect: didn't see those eyes until I downloaded the pic in my pc and I was very surprised to see them: a gree/yellow one and a blue one. I haven't touched the pic (I wouldn't know how to do it even if I wanted to, don't have Photoshop), only enlarged it to allow a better sight of the white cat's eyes, I was lucky the kitty looked at my camera while I stood there wanting to capture this morning scene during a walk in Seville . The cats didn't seem disturbed by my presence at all.

ReplyDeleteThese are beautiful cat eyes, especially the two colored eyes. Apparently white cats have this quite often and can hear for this reason. Blue eyed cats are always deaf (we had one) now our Arthur has yellow eyes. But to get an eye photo is not that easy. At least my cats are always closing them. Naughty beasts.
ReplyDeleteHow very sweet. I've seen cats with different colored eyes before.. though not very many. I heard blue eyed cats were deaf too.. I wonder if that's the case for this one too.

We once had a cat with 2 different color eyes. And we had two part siamese cats with blue eyes. Great photos!

ReplyDeleteAnd I see that this white kitty has what Sweetie has, too...those little eye booger thingy's....I never noticed these on any of my other cats...well, none of them were white, like Sweetie and this pretty person in that photo...
I know nothing about cats although I like them very much, but from the comments it seems it is not as unusual as I thought it was, that a white cat has different colored eyes, OOLOH ... it is fun to learn new things, though!!
Beautiful shot, the eyes are so unique, and to get a photo like that is awesome. Cats are not always cooperative in the photography department...they always have their own agenda...LOL
