Today I am posting a picture for my own refreshment!! the heatwave has officially ended, but temperatures around here have still been in the high 80's and feeling like 38ºC /100ºF because of the high humidity. It isn't pleasant. I am so ready for the fall to arrive! while going through my pictures I found this one from last winter vacation (we love snow because we don't get any where we live), picturing father and son. Ahhhh, cool!
Looks real real cool, Mar! LOL! It's been hot here, too and until today, pretty Humid, though it is very Humid, tonight!!! Og course, we could have hot weather all through September....I hope you get a break there in Spain, my dear...
ReplyDeleteBTW: My 2,996 post is up now.
That pic is lovely and cool ;)
ReplyDeleteThings haven't started to heat up yet in Australia, but it won't be long now...
Michele sent me !
Hi there, thanks for the visit and the birthday call :)
ReplyDeleteIts still cold here in Nz.. and our summer doesnt get too bad, its humid for a couple of weeks and then it cools pretty quickly.. thats some high temps you have!
PS Ive update the meaning of nine
Noooo! no winter. :) I'm holding on to summer as hard as I can. ha ha
ReplyDeleteOh we could use that here in Charleston, SC! I feel ya on the humidity thing. It's a killer - and with me being 6 months pregnant, YIKES!!!!
ReplyDeleteA true refreshment for eyes and soul :)
ReplyDeleteHave an awesome Friday.
Happy hunting tomorrow...
I can hardly wait for ski season. The first winter in 5 years I won't be dealing with bad vision on the slopes!
ReplyDeleteI can't wait for the snow. Here in Maine we will get our first snowfall in about 2 months. Yippee!
ReplyDeleteI am ready for cooler weather too, Mar. Our summer has been too hot for too long and the grass and trees are suffering for lack of rain. Here's hoping we all get a break soon.
ReplyDeleteToo small to see them but photo is pretty cool. And look at all the snow.
ReplyDeleteNice! I hate the humidity, too. I've never lived in a place where there was low humidity unfortunately! Not good for us ladies with long hair either. Yikes!
ReplyDeleteAwesome photo & scenery! Autumn, though, is my very favorite season...I love watching it snow in the wintertime but really cannot tolerate the cold very well. *s*
ReplyDeleteNothing new at my place today but I have started working on a new story so may be finished with it soon.
We're in a different climate from each other. I'm hoping for some warmth in this jacket-weather. Tiny-huge-strange world. :)
ReplyDeleteNice thought to ski.
Did you find out how your fonts shifted by themselves?
Michele sent me (in case you were wondering)
Looks really nice! I am looking forward for winter and off skiing again! Anyway, here from Michele!
ReplyDeleteThat photo makes me shiver just to look at it. I'm hoping that we don't get any of that stuff for a long time yet!
ReplyDelete:)
Hi Mar, we had a heatwave throughout June and July but August was very average. Nights starting to shorten now, but not yet at the terrible (dark at 4:30) levels of Dec/Jan.
ReplyDeleteHoly cow! You live in Barcelona? It must be beautiful there! I live in Florida and it is friggin hot here, so I can relate. It won't be cool here until probably Christmas. Then the temperature will drop to a crisp 80 degrees. ;>)
ReplyDeleteHello from Michele's!
Snow! I love that stuff :)
ReplyDeleteHere from Michele's. I hope you enjoy the weekend.
What I wouldn't give to be in the snow right now!
ReplyDeleteI feel refreshed just looking at that picture. Thanks for sharing it: your timing is ideal.
ReplyDeleteIt was unseasonally hot and humid in New York City this week: and running back to my hotel was not a happy time to discover this. By the time I got back, I was sweating. Ick!
I like clean snow, but we don't get much of it where I am. :)
ReplyDeleteOh - no Saturday photo yet? I know you'll be posting something great :)...
ReplyDeleteWe are off to bad early tonight - my Sweetheart is not feeling well...I'll check back with you in the morning :)
