Our last trip included a short visit to Pamplona, the Spanish city better known for its San Fermin Festival and the running of the bulls, which I wouldn't ever want to watch. I was curious, nonetheless, to see the narrow streets where the whole thing takes place.
Walking around the main square one cannot miss this old café from 1888, a wonderful place called "Café Iruna" ( Iruna is the Basque for "Pamplona"), reportedly Hemingway's favorite place in Pamplona! I could have spent hours just looking at the decorations and watching people, two of my favorite activities!
Hemingway knew what he was talking about! it looks gorgeous! We have driven through Pamplona before, but never stopped - now i know a good reason to stop for a cup of coffee. Thanks for the tip :D
