the old coffee shop

Our last trip included a short visit to Pamplona, the Spanish city better known for its San Fermin Festival and the running of the bulls, which I wouldn't ever want to watch. I was curious, nonetheless, to see the narrow streets where the whole thing takes place.

Walking around the main square one cannot miss this old café from 1888, a wonderful place called "Café Iruna" ( Iruna is the Basque for "Pamplona"), reportedly Hemingway's favorite place in Pamplona! I could have spent hours just looking at the decorations and watching people, two of my favorite activities! Posted by Picasa
