weekend snapshot

home **

I wasn't sure I was going to be able to capture this, so I am happy one can see how busy one spider was in our garden. Click to enlarge, but there is no sight of the spider, though!

  1. I run away when I see a spider, that's more for Pookie, but I have to admit they do real artwork with their nets and you too with your picture !!

  3. That is quite a picture! I think all the spiders here in New Hampshire have gone to Florida for the winter! ;~)

  5. have you tried misting the web with a spray bottle? If your spray bottle has a good mist setting you're supposed to be able to make the web look as if the dew hit it for a very cool picture!

Your web is very cool too!

  6. I love how the light shimmers on the silken web. Well done, on capturing it so well as they are hard to photograph.

  10. Oh, isn't that pretty! I don't like the critters -- but they sure do pretty work! I came across one one time that had the OOOKY spider sitting right in the middle of it... and I did get a really nice picture of it! But that was on an old computer where I (of course) didn't back things up ... and lost it when the computer died! BACK THAT PICTURE UP!!! :)
