This has been the most difficult theme for me so far, I think. But fun!! After reviewing archives and possible old pictures to scan I settled for a not very original picture because I have posted it already but it is the most original flower sculpture I have ever seen: the lovely Puppy in Bilbao, Spain, in front of the Guggenheim Museum. It is a 43 ft/ 13 meter tall floral sculpture of a West Highland White Terrier puppy executed in a variety of flowers on a steel substructure (with an internal irrigation system) by Jeff Koons . Great photo Mar! I saw similar to this before but it was a huge ball during the World Cup Soccer 2002 in Yokohama:) Nice entry!

ReplyDeletethat's very original indeed, and beautiful to boot! We have something called "infiorata" over here, which is a picture on the ground consisting of a carpet of flowers. But this puppy sculpture beats it! :)

That's a nice floral structure. I used to be involved indirectly with such floral float parade in my state, Penang, Malaysia. Penang topped most of the time in the national level and did won a few awards in the Pasadena Floral Parade. Good take this week. Happy weekend.
